Ecole Polytechnique, Engineer Ponts et Chaussées, was an analyst at BNP Paribas in London in 2001-2002 ; since 2003, she worked as a deputy officer in the Treasury department of the Ministry of Finances, where she was in charge of Latin American countries. She then worked for the agency that manages the French State's equity holdings.
